Store toys separately to avoid them touching each other. Some toys, especially those made of TPE or TPR, can discolor, deform, or even degrade if stored touching each other.
Storage Options for Sex Toys
Makeup Bag or Beauty Bag
My first adult toy bag was just a repurposed beauty bag. You can find these cheaply at your local pharmacy, and some brands also make feminine and masculine styles. A makeup bag is a great choice for minimalists. If you only have one or two toys that you love, then this is an affordable option.
Boxes or Baskets
For moderate collections, a few boxes or baskets are a good solution. I moved from a plastic tub to two gift boxes with feminine and floral patterns found online, but you can find great options at local homeware stores.
Bedside Table
If you have space, a bedside table might be the best storage solution for all adult toys. You can easily grab what you need. If you have drawers, you can keep the most frequently used toys inside — try using small organizing boxes inside the drawers to keep them neat and tidy.
Blanket Box
Blanket boxes are used to store blankets at the end of the bed. You can also use them in hallways, and some have padded tops for sitting, making them multifunctional. You can sit on the box while putting on or taking off your clothes.

No matter which storage option you choose, there are a few other things to consider, such as power, organizing cords, and instruction manuals.
Setting Up a Charging Station
With more toys now being USB chargeable, getting a USB hub for quick and easy storage can be a great idea. I am intrigued by the Incharge box, which is also lockable for those who need extra security. I also recommend using cable grips to prevent magnetic chargers from electrifying the nearest metal object, as they will if you leave them plugged in.
Adding Some Labels
I like to keep my boxes private, so there are no labels on my boxes. But if you love extreme organization, you can add some handwritten labels to your containers or areas. You will want to store similar items together to make them easier to find later. You might need to label or mark your remotes and charging cables. Not all cables work with all toys, and labeling them will be something you will thank yourself for later. I cut up the original box and keep only the vital information (like the barcode). I like to keep the warranty card, charger, and anything else together.
Storing Manuals, Warranty Cards, etc.
If you decide to separate your cables, you might need to store all chargers and manuals in a separate storage box. I like these boxes because I can have a dedicated plastic box for each toy, so they are there if needed. Some people might like to keep their purchases in the original box. But I am not sure about the demand for adult toy collectibles, especially used ones. Plus, there can be a lot of empty space in those toy boxes!
Cleaning Your Sex Toys Before Storage
Please clean your sex toys before storing them. Always clean the toys after use and let them dry before storage. This will ensure you can keep using them again and again, which is very important.
Always clean your sex toys after every use and do not put them away wet. Mold growing on your toys because of something you did will not be covered under warranty! You can easily clean adult toys with wipes or a cleaning spray. I prefer toy cleaners over soap because cleaning sprays are pH-balanced to reduce the chance of irritation. Just spray a bit on the toy surface, leave it for a few seconds, and then wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth.
